He called for stricter sanctions and more support, stressing that Ukraine needs its allies' support more than ever. Meanwhile, the British prime minister expressed admiration for the courage of the Ukrainian forces.
The two Freedoms discussed sanctions against Russia and support for the Ukrainian government. President Zelensky also urged Western leaders to encourage anti-war protests in Russia.
Johnson, on the other hand, promised to do everything he can. He told Ukrainian leaders: “Remember this Volodimir, we believe Putin will fail and this is the main objective of the United Kingdom government”
