More and more Ukrainians are leaving their country to escape the war that has started since the early hours of Thursday morning.
The BBC writes that most of those who manage to cross across the border are women and children. This is because since midnight last night, men entering military age, 18 to 60, are told to stay and fight
A destination for them to leave the country is the Hungarian border in Beringsurny, where most walk on foot, mainly ethnic Hungarians with Ukrainian citizenship from Ukraine's Transcarpatian region.
Eva, 44-year-old, traveled towards the border from her village 12km away along with her 11-year-old Eniko and 14-year-old Richie. Her husband works in Budapest.
There was a lot of panic in our village. People gather on the streets to leave. There's a lot of shopping in the store”, she said.
