Vucinac with Ukraine, but says it opposes sanctions against Russia

Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has finally shown the country's leadership stance as Ukraine's Russia invasion continues.

Vuciq, addressing the Serbian people from the Serbian Palace, said these are particularly difficult days for Serbia for many reasons, writes “B92”.

“In the past days we tried and managed to maintain a unified position on the crisis issue in Ukraine and our actions and reactions, as well as on all of the actions and movements that our state bodies must implement. We faced problems and pressures”, Vuciq said, following the National Security Council meeting.
