The United States of America will impose sanctions today on Moscow, as a response to Russia after Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered Russian troops to enter two pro-Russian separatist zones in Ukraine.
“We plan to publish new sanctions Tuesday against Russia in response to Moscow's decision and its shares. We are co-ordinating with our allies on this report”, said a White House spokesman.
These developments come after President Joe Biden had previously imposed limited sanctions in two areas in Ukraine that are supported by Russia, which were recognised as independent by Putin.
The United States and other Western allies are condemning Putin's movements as an attack on Ukraine's territorial integrity. (Anees\Periscopi)
