Ukraine's president, Voldymyr Zelensky, had a ominous warning for his European counterparts in a video conference last night.
According to a “Walla News” of Israel, he told other leaders: “This may be the last time you see me alive”
Ukrainian presidential adviser warned earlier that Russia wants to kill Zelensky if it manages to take control of the Ukrainian capital, Sky News reports.
Russia is believed to be planning to install a puppet government in Ukraine if it successfully invades Kiev.
Today, it is the second day of Ukraine's Russian occupation, the first major land war in Europe in decades. Russian President Vladimir Putin said he was launching, according to him, a <x0 separate” operation for the “demilitarisation and denacisation” of Ukraine. The United States, the European Union and NATO condemned the attack and vowed to hold Russia responsible.
Great Britain said it is ready to provide Ukraine with additional military support, including lethal defence weapons as well as guarantees for loans, in order to help Kiev “cope with Russian aggression.
