He has said Russia can choose the location of the talks.
“Ukrainian will continue to follow only the diplomatic path for the sake of a peaceful settlement”, he said.
But the Kremlin has given no answer.
Mr. Zelensky spoke several hours after separatist leaders in eastern Ukraine ordered a full military mobilization Saturday, while Western leaders made increasingly alarming warnings that a Russian invasion of his neighbour seemed inevitable.
