Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dimitro Kuleba has said the village of Stanissia Luhanska has been promoted and called on allied countries to react.

Ukrainian village Stanytsia Luhanska was promoted with heavy weapons from Donba's occupied territory. Infrastructure is damaged. We call on all partners to quickly condemn this serious violation of Minsk's agreements from Russia in an already tense security situation”, he says.

Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, said he has spoken with European Council President Charles Michel about “provocative commitments”, reports The Guardian.

Michel is leading an emergency meeting of EU leaders for Ukraine.

Independent correspondent in Moscow Oliver Carroll, who has reported from both sides of the front line in eastern Ukraine, says three people were injured by the bombing of a kindergarten in the Donbas region.

He posted a video showing a ruined playground on Twitter.

The grenades from rebel territory seem like provocation, the Ukrainian government's source says.

A senior source of Ukrainian government has said grants from rebel territory east of the country are the typical “” and “appear as a provocation”, Reuters reports.

Earlier, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSBE), which has been monitoring the Donbas conflict for years, reported “numerous grenadeicides” in eastern Ukraine.

Ukrainian officials have published photographs of a garden that they say was damaged by shelling, while the Kremlin accused Ukraine of shooting first.
