At the moment it is critical to remain calm, remain united and consolidated within the country and refrain from actions that violate stability and sow panic”, Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

Ukraine's “Armed Forces are constantly monitoring developments and ready to repel any attacks on the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine”, it is also said in the statement.

On Thursday, Ukrainian President Voldymyr Zelensky, along with the National Security and Defence Council, made a full “analysis of the current security situation and further actions of Ukraine”, noting that the country has “further strengthening its capacity to protect state security and citizens”.
