The Ukrainian Army has published the figure that, according to its opinion, represents the number of Russia's losses so far.
According to a Facebook post, the Ukrainian Army said that more than 3,500 Russian soldiers involved in the invasion were killed and nearly 200 others were taken captive, the BBC writes.
The Ukrainian Army added that Russia has also lost 14 planes, eight helicopters and 102 tanks so far. The BBC couldn't independently prove any of these claims.
So far, Russia has not publicly said it has suffered any consequences from fighting, but there are killed Russian soldiers and destroyed military vehicles on the ground.
