Sweden has announced the removal of restrictions imposed by authorities on curbing the new coronary (COVID-19).
Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson, at a media conference, said the decision has been taken at the suggestion of the Public Health Agency.
Discussing that the COVID-19 pandemic is under control, Andersson stressed that the virus has not damaged public health services and that the situation is stable in intensive hospital therapy departments, reports the paper.
Meanwhile, the Public Health Agency reported that deaths from COVID-19 increased to 16 thousand and 28, and the number of infections exceeded 2.2 million.
On Tuesday, Denmark became the first European Union member (BE) to lift most of the restrictive measures against COVID-19.
On the same day, it was followed by Norway, which lifted the ban on alcohol after 11 p.m. and the border on private gatherings with no more than ten people.
