Svechla has written that this results from the team's great commitment as well as the frequent demands of Kosovars living in Germany.
“A good news for Kosovo and our citizens in Germany. At the meeting of the German Bundesrat, mutual recognition of drivers' patent between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Kosovo has been voted today. This success is the result of a great commitment by our teams, which I find a chance to thank them for their unspoiled work as well as the most frequent demand of our citizens anywhere in Germany. Since taking office we have worked intensively to complete this process successfully and as soon as”, Svechla wrote.
He has now declared that he has received approval from the Kosovo Government for such agreements initiatives both with Turkey and Canada, as well as is under way with Italy and Austria.
The accord under legislation in the Federal Republic of Germany has received approval of all countries and patent drivers will be recognised throughout Germany. Dear citizens living throughout the diaspora, relief of your life and activity is our responsibility in cooperation with the Allied states where you live. In all my meetings with my counterparts I have raised this and other issues for you. This week we have received approval of our Government for such agreements initiatives even with Turkey and Canada, and we are in the process with Italy and Austria, and of course you will be informed of all the processes we will start or finalise”, Svechla wrote.
Germany has decided today that it will recognise its license-friends from Kosovo. This proposal has received approval from 16 German countries.
The news has revealed Kosovo's ambassador to Germany, Faruk Ajeti, who said Kosovo missed no vote.
“The particular pleasure of meeting most of the transport ministers of 16 German countries on the eve of voting to recognise the drivers of the Republic of Kosovo. Even happier, when of the 69 general votes of Bundesrat, our Republic lacks no vote. This talks a lot about friendship between our two countries, as well as empowering and establishing the standardisation of Kosovo drivers with European norms. Thanks to Germany”, Avis wrote.
