During the interview, the prosecution has requested from MP Balje, data on what she has stated on the “Oxygen” of February 12th, 2022, about the victim's name or any other information so the prosecution can contact the victim.
“Well, the MP regarding this case has stated that they do not know the victim's name and that it does not have its phone number, nor any information about the possible crime head. The prosecution reports that, in such a situation, by MP Balje has failed to provide any information that had presented the basis for opening the case probe”, the media report said.
Therefore, the Special Prosecutor calls on all victims of sexual violence during the Kosovo war to denounce crime in the competent prosecutor, which guarantees protection of their identity. It also invites all citizens who are able to access relevant information about such cases, to report to the prosecutor, not to these cases to be discussed in various styles of entertainment.
