Disturbing signals come from the Donba region in eastern Ukraine, in control of pro-Russian separatists.
Kiev accuses the rebels of 60 ceasefire violations over the past 24 hours and says a soldier has been wounded. However, the defence ministry in Ukraine guarantees it has no intention of launching an offensive against separatist positions, writes a2cn.
The latter claim it is Kiev that is breaking the ceasefire by launching a series of shells during Thursday and Friday.
The Kremlin is expressed in a state of alarm over reports of an increase in the bombings in Donbas, with Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov saying weapons banned from the Minsk deal are also being used.
