Serbs getting paid without going to work at all, SBASK comes out at urgent request to government

United Union, Education, Science and Culture ( The USAK has declared that the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and other innovations should be criticised, as according to them, 32 Serbian officials are being paid without working on the Kosovo education system.

In the announcement issued by the SBASK, it is said that they have tried to negotiate the matter with AugustI and the Government of Kosovo, but that they have not taken them seriously.

“At the same time, since September, we've made various appeals requests, even the SBASK and the DKA-KAS Kosovo for 53 educational workers who don't get salaries, even though they work since September 2020, and some even earlier, where there are five technical workers who maintain school every day but don't get salaries:x1>.

Even worse than that is in the Mitrovica municipality, where we have over 100 educational workers who don't get salaries and don't figure out the salary list, so once again we ask from the MASTI, the Government of Kosovo, to make an urgent choice for these employees, who do their job every day, but have not received a salary of”, says the SBASK report.
