The session of the National Security Council, led by Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, has been held in Belgrade.
The hearing, as published in the Instagram account of the president of Serbia, has started around 1600.
Official Belgrade has yet to disclose the position after the launch of Ukraine's Russian occupation.
Serbia must respond to the European Union's request (BE) if it will join sanctions against Moscow.
So far, Serbia has not condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine. In addition to the European Union countries, most Western Balkan leaders did the same.
Vuciq is expected to have an address on the subject after 6:00.
