As he left the White House, President Biden told reporters this morning that the US has “reason to believe” that Russia is “involved in a false operation”.
“Every signal we have shows that they are prepared to go to Ukraine, attack Ukraine,” said Biden, adding that “I think this will happen within the next few days”.
He said Russian answers were sent to his office, but he hasn't read them yet, CNN writes.
He noted that State Secretary Antony Blinken will go to the United Nations today and establish a diplomatic path, repeating that “has a” road.
Beden added that he has no plans to call Putin”.
