Sadiku, at RTV Dukaagjini, however, says the vaccine is the best protection against coronary and serious forms of the disease.
We already have about 30,000 active cases and only about 100 people are hospitalised. Last year we may have had a lot less active cases, but we've had overloads on hospitals”.
Sadiku has also shown a personal case of the effect of the vaccine's third dose.
Last week, we had two positive kids with coronavirus. Together with his wife, we knew they were positive but we didn't guard against them. Because we had the third dose of vaccine, we weren't infected. This shows the efficiency of the” vaccine.
He says few people in Kosovo are immune to the third dose.
Only those who received the third dose in December are considered immune, since those who were vaccinated in January and here may still not have gained immunity. Even those who receive the third dose of the vaccine have no 100% protection against Omitron. If 100 people get the third dose, 25 are likely to get infected, but they're going to be very easy to get through.
