The evacuation of Russian diplomatic staff from Ukraine has reported Reuters.
Our first priority is to take care of Russian diplomats and embassy employees and General Consulates. To protect their lives and security, the Russian leadership decided to evacuate the staff of Russian missions in Ukraine, which would be implemented in the very near future“, a statement said.
Otherwise, on Monday evening Russia recognised the independence of Luhansk and Donetsk, which are part of Ukraine and are only partially controlled by pro-Russian forces. The move comes several years after Russia invaded Crimea. The EU and the US have warned sanctions against these violations of international law.
