The statement through a Twitter post came when several Russian government websites, such as the Kremlin and Duma website, as well as the RT website, a Russian state-backed medium, were hit by cyberattacks.
Through another tweet, the group of hackers whose target in the past was the CIA and I SIS, added that private sector entities would also be affected.
