After the Ukrainian side rejected the negotiation process, today all units have been ordered to advance from all directions in line with operational plans”, Russian Army spokesman Igor Konasenkov said through a statement.
Kremlin said Friday that Russian President Vladimir Putin had only sent a delegation to Belarus for talks with Ukraine, but Ukraine has called for talks to be held in Warsaw.
Ukraine says it is being attacked by many directions, including Belarus.
Konasenkov claimed Russian forces are not targeting civilian areas, despite evidence testifying otherwise.
Ukraine said on Saturday that at least 198 civilians including three children have been killed since Moscow began its invasion on February 24th.
Russia has not indicated how many of its forces were killed during the invasion, which it calls “special military operation”. / REL
