Resume dialogue with Serbia, Kosovo Assembly meets Thursday

While, the session will also discuss ratification of social security agreements between the Government of Kosovo and Albania and the draft law on ratification of the agreement between the Government of Kosovo and the Council of Ministers of Albania to implement customs facilities.
Kusari has said that in this session there will be a second review of the law on change and implementation of the housing law, the first review of the value-added tax bill, the first review of the civil code and the formation of an adhoc commission, the selection of a candidate for the RTK board from among other communities not majority.
While the head of the AAKA Parliamentary Group, Besnik Tahiri, has said the government should clarify its report in dialogue with Serbia.
Under the direction of Chairman Glauk Konjufca, the Headship decided that, in addition to tomorrow's (designed at the previous chairmanship meeting), the Assembly will meet at the plenary session on Thursday, February 24, 2022, in which some bills are expected to be reviewed, a debate will take place, as well as considered other issues scheduled in the order of the day.
The session will begin with statements outside the agenda and parliamentary questions to continue with reviewing Bill No.08/ The L-126 for ratification of the Social Security Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Government of the Republic of Albania, as well as for ratification of the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania for the implementation of customs and/or the control of the entry/exitment of goods.
Later, the Assembly will debate developments in Kosovo's dialogue on Serbia to proceed with the second review of Bill No. No.08/ L-011 for changing and completing Law No.04/ L-061 for selling housing for which there is a residential right.
For the first time, meanwhile, Bill No.08/ L-005 for Common Value Tax, Bill No. 08/L-17 for the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, Bill No. 08/L-023 for changing and completing Law No. 03/L-064 for Official Festivals in the Republic of Kosovo.
as well as Civil Code Project of the Republic of Kosovo No. 08/L-124.
On the agenda of this session will also be forming the Ad-hoc Commission for selecting candidates for a member of the Kosovo Radio Television Board, from among other communities not majority.
