The Supreme Leader of North Korea threw the first shovel at the launch of this project, which, according to him, will modernise agriculture in the country.
The farm is projected to be 250 hectares and will take eight months for its construction. Numerous fireworks were thrown at the ceremony, and there was even a tractor show.
The communist country has already had a problem with food supply for years, even because of sanctions imposed by the West.
