Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama, travels towards the United States of America today to attend the UN Security Council summit, where Albania is represented as a temporary member.
On a four-day visit, a meeting of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken was envisioned in Washington on February 15th.
This will be the second meeting between Rama and Blinken, after that June 13th, 2021, where the agreement on the 5G network was signed. Besides the Security Council and meeting with the secretary of state, the head of the Albanian government will hold meetings and other officials to discuss possible military and educational co-operation between the two countries.
