In July of last year, a tragedy struck Decanin. Over 1800 people from this city sought medical help because of water poisoning.

At the time, various information about the cause of the poisonings of one of them was also the flow of information that two persons of Serbian nationalism were seen near a well in this city.

But today the prosecutor of the case has acquitted two Serbian citizens, saying that from the investigations that have been conducted, they are not involved in this case.

“at the time the two persons of Serbian nationality were identified, we have taken all actions with high professionalism, but it has proved that the same are not involved in the case in question”, the prosecutor said.

But the prosecution in Pec has suggested today that an indictment was filed against two persons related to poisonings in Decani.

I announced that after an intensive investigation, in the criminal case known as the 1500 citizens of the Decani municipality and surrounding villages, today I have filed an indictment against the two officials as responsible persons of the regional Hidrodrin company in Pec, and the one against dep.technic director for the cause of general risk and against chemist for non-evidentation of danger, the prosecutor said.

In a concrete case, over 1500 citizens have requested medical assistance, 872 have had symptoms referring to drinking water poisoning”, the prosecutor said, followed Periscope.

Regarding allegations of criminal acts, the prosecutor gave little detail:

The Reresic is exposed to the uncertainty of the wells, where everyone could get access, but also from the lack of chloride showing that tests have not been regular”, he said, follows Periscope.

“We have witnesses and witnesses, thanks to whom we have also filed the indictment”, he said./Periscopi/
