Petkov: If elections are not allowed on April 3rd, Kosovo's most elections in the north

Petar Petkov has said that Kosovo will not be able to organise elections in a part of its territory unless it allows Serbia's elections to be held on April 3rd. The head of the so-called office for Kosovo in Belgrade has commented on the Kurti Government's warnings of failing to hold Serbia's national elections in northern Kosovo. He has said that if it is not allowed to keep them, then neither can Kosovo organise its elections in the country's north.
These statements come as Serbia was not allowed to hold the referendum for constitutional changes on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo by the government.
It is clear that, if there is no choice on April 3rd, there will be no elections in Pristina in northern Kosovo. We're going to have unpredictable consequences”, he said Petar Petkov.
In a proposal for TV Tanjug, Petkovic has stressed that the vote issue is basic human right, which, he said, Albin Kurti is trying to deny the Serbian people in Kosovo, as well as all other rights they belong to.
“We will not close our eyes on what is happening in Kosovo, we have repeatedly warned the international community, which is responsible for pressure on Albin Kurti and Pristina to hold the elections on April 3rd”, Petkovic said.
He adds that Serbs do not require anything special, but only for elections to be held both in the past few years and that both Quint states and EU officials have defended the right of the Serbian people to vote. He says it cannot be held in the form of a statement, but concrete action is needed to produce results.
In addition, Petkovic went to conspiring statements saying that Kurti, by not allowing Serbs to vote, wants to intervene in the election process in Serbia, as he says, all know that the Serbian people voted for Vucinqiqi and the Serbian Progressive Party, and that he wants to remove them 50-6,000 votes for Vuciciqi and SNS.
Otherwise, Kosovo Foreign Minister Donika Grovalla said in a recent show that the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo will not allow Serbia's elections in Kosovo on April 3rd.
