According to Peci, Russia's goal is not only to conquer Ukraine but also to change the present European and world order by force.
The dark days are right next to our continent, which could have followed thousands of victims in Ukraine, but even further across the borders of this country. This could have consequences even in the Balkans, including the moment of truth for Serbia, which would not have the comfort of being equally Western and Russian”, Peci wrote.
On the other hand, Peci has said that under these circumstances, the recognition of Kosovo by the four non-recognitional NATO countries “could become an object of security and stability on the southern wing of the Alliance”
For all countries in the region today, their credibility as an ally of the West and their ranks, not only in relation to the conflict in Ukraine, but also in relation to security and stability in the region, in these turbulent times with developments that are unknown to the end.
One more thing, with Russia's eventual intervention in Ukraine, will be opened in the U.N. crash chapter, as a responsible institution for international peace and security, and this will restore the balance policy of power on our continent 33 years after the end of the Ftof War. In these circumstances, the recognition of Kosovo by the four non-recognitional NATO countries can become an incentive to preserve security and stability on the southern side of Alliance”, the Peci post says.
Otherwise, US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan has said the Russian attack on Ukraine is likely to begin in the coming days, though he added it is still not clear whether Russian President Vladimir Putin has given the order to attack.
Sullivan said American intelligence believes Russia's President Vladimir Putin may order the invasion before the end of the Winter Olympics, held in Beijing, and that a quick attack on the Ukrainian capital, Kiev is possible.
