The Commission for Board, Work and Transfere has considered the requirement for setting up the deputy's height of compensation for leadership function and compensation of expenditures.
For this request led by Kosovo's Parliament Speaker, who envisions the removal of compensation from deputies for the derivative, the chief of GP from the VV, Mimoza Kusari Lila, has said a ceiling should be laid for an MP's monthly expenses.
“Calls must be dropped by 50 percent. No additional compensation for MP”, she stressed.
LDK MP Avdullah Hoti said the Parliament Speaker's request is unclear.
Hoti even demanded that more time be given to parliamentary groups for discussion.
“There is uncertainty, this job should not be done with euphoria”, he said.
PDK MP Mergim Lushtaku has called a <x0phasade” after the debate over MPs' oil expenditures erupted.
Make sure we don't fall prey to a handful of” votes, Lushtaku said.
The chairman of the Commission in the end said that it is not fair for the Parliament to oversee many institutions, and on the other hand MPs to spend derivatives without control.
It is not good for MPs to oversee many institutions for spending, and on the other hand, MPs to spend on uncontrollable derivatives. I am to remove compensations for oil and coffee”, he said.
He said this Commission will make a decision next week on the matter.
Meanwhile, the Commission has established a five-member working group regarding the State Debt Bill and State Guarantees.
