“Can confirm that LDK chairman Lumir Abdixhiku will hold a meeting today with US envoy for the Western Balkans Gabriel Escobar, and EU envoy for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue Miroslav Lajcak”, Tahiri has declared.
Otherwise, Escobar and Lajcak have arrived in Pristina on Monday, where they met with President Vjosa Osmani, Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the Republic of Kosovo's first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialog, Besnik Bislimi.
After these meetings, US Deputy Assistant Secretary Escobar said the US strongly supports Kosovo's independence and sovereignty.
