Obadiah: Electricity prices increased at the order of Kurti Government

Democratic League of Kosovo Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku has said the ZRE has increased the price of electricity under the Kosovo Government's command. He said today's decision to expensive electricity for consumers who spend more than 800 kilowatts per hour is government decision Kurti spent through the Office [...]
Abdixhiku said only the free power fee has undergone an increase of 104%.
This conference is the result of today's publicised decision, the Government's decision, covered under ZRE's coat of astronomical electricity expensive in Kosovo. This decision, camouflaged through ZRE, envisions that any spending on 800 kilowatts per hour will pay the expensive fee from 6.75 cents today to 12.5 cents, almost two sets more expensive. Meanwhile, the fee -- free from 2.89 cents -- is currently at exactly 5.9 cents or 104% more expensive”, he has said.
As for the government, LDK leader said Prime Minister Albin Kurti has ignored citizens' sorrows.
The symbolic changes of ZRE that the government assigned Kurti arrogantly ignores the sorrows of our citizens. These concerns have been compounded since the first day of the warning about the expensive supply of electricity and have been ignored without any justification by the government's submitted proposals”, Obadiah further said.
In terms of changing the ZRE's decision to expensive electricity for consumers who spend over 800 kilowatts per hour from 600 kilowatts as recommended at the outset, Obadiah said it is a symbolic difference.
The difference from 600 kilowatts per hour to 800 kilowatts per hour, from 14 cents to 12.5 cents at first, is the symbolic difference so that's the impossible difference. The government Kurti has refused to listen to the inadequacy of our citizens of all those who spend over 800 kilowatts per hour, which are 1,084 of Kosovo's population”, he said.
He also had words for Prime Minister Kurti. He said the good solution cannot provide a prime minister who thinks the current is free.
I can't give you a prime minister who thinks the current is free. The one who thinks the current is loose can make a good choice. Good choice cannot give a prime minister who has a heart to get the money for the budget. Not where our citizens will find the money to cope with this big crisis”, he said.
Abdixhiku has confirmed that they have started collecting 40 signatures to call an extraordinary session regarding today's ZRE decision.
“We have started collecting signatures, 40 signatures for extraordinary sessions so the Assembly can come out with a stance that rejects this ZRE decision. They will also request the dismissal of the ZRE Board, decided by the government Kurti, which during this time has shown complete incompatibility”, he has said.
