Kosovo police have indicated that in the continuation of the strategic objectives in preventing and combating crime, as well as based on the request of Kosovo Customs, today in the early morning hours in the Pristina region's (Podujevo) border zone, North Mitrovica (Leposaviq, Zubin Potok) and in the border zone related to the Republic of Northern Macedonia (Viti, Gjilan) has implemented police operation in preventing and combating smuggling and other criminal phenomena.

According to police, this police operation has been aimed at fighting and preventing smuggling, maintaining order, calming and public security, and implementing the law.
