Montenegro's Parliament Speaker Downloaded

Montenegro's Assembly at the extraordinary session tonight approved the proposal for the dismissal of Parliament Speaker Alexa Beciq.

43 coalition deputies “Zi over White” and opposition voted for Beciq's dismissal.

Coalition deputies “for Montenegro's future” and “Peace is our nation” opposed, there was no abstention.

Beciq, who abstained during the vote, was elected speaker of the Parliament on September 23rd 2020.

Until Beciq's successor is elected, the post of Parliament Speaker will be exercised by Strahinja Bulaijq, deputy chairman and representative of the largest MP club, RRTCG broadcasts.
