Moldova declares state of emergency: For 60 days

Moldova's Parliament has approved the state of emergency for 60 days, due to the Russian attack on the neighbouring state of Ukraine. Moldova's Parliament has approved the state of emergency for 60 days, due to the Russian attack on the neighbouring state of Ukraine.
Among other things, the state of emergency prohibits mass protests and enables the Government to expel the unwanted “ ” persons from the state.
The prime minister, Natalia Gavrilita, has said that more than 4,200 refugees from Ukraine have already entered the country.
Some of them have continued on the road to the European Union, but at least 100 have applied for asylum in Moldova.
The border between these two countries is 1,222 miles long. /rel
