Militarys from Kosovo, Albania express interest in fighting in Ukraine

Alexader Dermenkli is chairman of the group “Union of Albanians in Ukraine”.

He says they live in an area far from conflict zones.

Dermenkli says there are several Albanian soldiers in Ukraine, when a number of them are also in conflict areas.

He says that despite the situation, there will be no war tension.

He says Albanians from Kosovo and Albania, but also the diaspora have expressed readiness to come to aid and even to engage in war.

Otherwise, after Russia-Ukrainian tensions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diasporas in Kosovo has called on its citizens to leave Ukraine as soon as possible.

The ministry's announcement reportedly could no longer be excluded from the beginning of an open armed conflict.
