Lushtaku through a Facebook status said he's against it because it's for the family.
He says it conflicts with the ideological political that he follows and with his personal beliefs.
Many European states have maintained traditional family values, as have the countries of the region. Even Chancellor Merkel had voted against same - sex marriages because, as she pointed out, the marriage is between husband and wife.
So I, as the representative of the people, will vote against the Civil Code Project which gives room to marriages between the same gender, because I am for the family and that it conflicts with the political ideology that I follow and my personal beliefs”, Lushtaku wrote.
He has also invited all Kosovo Parliament deputies to vote against this code project.
