Hashim Thaci's lawyer at The Hague, Gregory Kehoe, has said the materials the prosecution delivered to him are edited most of them.
At today's progress conference, he showed evidence before the judge that they were black photographs.
I heard the prosecution today that information was made available to us and that I would like to share one with another and explain the situation. This is the first exit in the 102-3 rule. For the next extraction, there are only two pages. So these documents are all black. When we make demands on this, unfortunately that we get back from the prosecution. So when the prosecutor talked about the extraction of materials today, that's what they gave us. Still haven't been answered by the prosecution. Documentation to be given that are part of the” act.
Kehoe has also read part of the documentation concerning the accused, Kadri Wessel.
“They accuse my client Wessel of improper behaviour regarding activities that took place in June 1998, while the rest of the information is all edited. How is that possible?
He said this is just one of many examples, until he said that even the witnesses don't have the necessary documents.
At today's session to Hashim Thaci, Jakup Krasniqi, Kadri Veselin and Rexhep Selimi is being discussed in connection with the extraction of evidence, translation of documents, prosecution and defence investigations.
As far as material evidence is concerned, I have nothing. We have this huge gap for those documents we should have in our possession”.
The defence also said the prosecution is respecting the deadline the court is setting to submit documents.
