“Work began towards the rise of the minimum wage, towards fulfilling another commitment. For years private sector workers have been put aside. By our rule, that changes. We'll provide them with the threshold of income that allows them a dignified life. Still not a year in government, we have started taking the necessary steps towards increasing the minimum wage”, he wrote on Facebook.
Prime Minister Kurti has said the first step in achieving this goal is to regulate the legal framework, and furthermore has added that the Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers has only prepared the bill, which will soon come up in public consultations.
