Prime Minister Albin Kurti, accompanied by state chief Vjosa Osmani and his deputy Donika Grovala, have met with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, within the framework of the Munich Security Conference. This meeting comes days after Mitsotakis has met with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vucic, in Belgrade.
The two heads of state Osmani and Kurti have asked the Greek prime minister for recognition of Kosovo's independence.
Greece is an important factor for our region, NATO and the EU. Along with President Vjosa Osmani, Foreign Minister Donika Grovalla, I met with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. We share common values, purposes and economic interests and reconfirmed the need for recognition of Kosovo's”, Kurti wrote.
