In addition to the photograph, Barisic wrote during his independence day. Likewise, Croatia's president, Zoran Milanovic, has written a letter of congratulations for the Day of Independence to Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani.
Kosovo today celebrates the 14th anniversary of its declaration of Independence. On Sunday, February 17th 2008, the Declaration of Independence was read at 15:39 in the Kosovo Assembly.
From that moment, Kosovo was declared independent, becoming sovereign state, with independent institutions and unique state symbols within the Western Balkans.
