Kosovo's “Dogana has made a decision to dismiss the customs official, to whom the criminal trial is under way at the Constitutional Court in Pec. Kosovo Customs is grateful for the Founding Prosecutor who is following and for providing evidence that Kosovo Customs has administered in administrative procedure. The administered evidence is clear to believe that the customs official during the exercise of duties has made serious violations of the Ethics code, which are not acceptable to the standards system and values Kosovo Customs represents as a public institution. Kosovo customs is in service of public interest, and officials are trained to exercise work duties professionally, considering responsibility to fulfill the Kosovo Customs mission, which serves the protection of citizens, the economy and dignified representation of legal authority. Any deviation from this will be punishable without exception of”, said the media communiqué.
