According to INTERPOL reports, the defendant in 2003 was sentenced by Norway's State Court to 12 years in prison and 40,000 NOK for narcotics trafficking.
S.T. has since escaped from Norway in order to avoid the execution of the sentence, so that the court has estimated that with its finding in freedom, the possibility of escape is more than obvious and possible, therefore, the same amount of detention was imposed pending the realization of further extradition procedures in Norway for the execution of the prison sentence.
Against this decision the dissatisfied side has the right to complaint at the Court of Appeals.
