Fatmir Humolli has declared that, during or after the war, he has not heard that Salih Mustafa committed any crimes.
“The BIA guerrilla's structure has never been mandated with arrest, worked in the city, and their main tasks have been informed of the positions of the Serb forces, of logistics, of the health needs of the military hospital that was in Potok and they beat themselves, in case of their own lives, otherwise they haven't had a mission in this period of military power in Pristina”, Humol said.
Humoll has said every BIA member has been able to take refuge in any Kosovo Liberation Army unit that has been on the outskirts of Pristina.
“The guerrilla participants have not been able to identify any superiors of the operational zone without the permission of Salih Mustafa, and for that neither has the commander of the operational staff been entitled to Salih Mustafafa [for organisational lines within the city, even people have had no opportunity to identical other structures without having to have a need”, the witness said.
While in his response to the prosecution, Humoll has said the BIA unit was not under the command of any UCK brigade.
He has declared that BIA was a unit in the summer and that the same was under the command of Salih Mustaf.
The Act against Salih Mustafa, who is the first arrested by the Special, was confirmed on June 12th 2020, as he was arrested on September 24th last year, on the claim of war crimes.
He is standing at The Hague's detention centre, while in his statement to the court, Salih Mustafa has been declared innocent.
