Germany changes its mind, allows for sending weapons to Ukraine

According to David Herszenhorn from Politico, this could represent a major change in European military assistance to Ukraine.

So far, Germany had a long practice of not allowing lethal weapons controlled or sold initially to be sent to war zones.

Estonia had wanted to send weapons to Ukraine, but because Germany had sold them to Finland, from which Estonia had bought them, Germany had veto rights, reports Guardian,
