Asked whether Putin's threat to <x0... consequences you've never faced in your history” was equal to the threat of Russian nuclear weapons in the conflict in Ukraine, Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said he was really understood as such.

Speaking from the Kremlin as he began the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Army, Putin said Russia would respond immediately with unprecedented consequences if any foreign force tries to intervene.
“Whoever tries to prevent us and much more to create threats for our country, for our people, must know that Russia's response will be immediate. And there will be consequences you have never encountered in your history“, the Russian president said.
