Company workers “NewCo Ferronikli” will protest this Thursday ahead of the Kosovo Government's facility.
Through a media report, they suggest they will seek on the part of the government the return to production and return of Ferronikel workers to work.
They are saying that the government, even after five months of factory destruction, is continuing to neglect their demands.
This Thursday, February 24th, by 12:00, under the organisation of the Independent Ferrnikli Workers Union, company workers “NewCo Ferrnikli” will protest before the Kosovo Government's target. The main requirement will be to take concrete action on the part of the government for the return to production and return of Ferronikel workers to work, who are suffering serious economic consequences from the long crisis. Five months after factory production stopped, the government has consistently neglected our urgent nature demands, despite appeals to prayers for aid and two peaceful protests with high numbers of participants”, the report said.

This Thursday, February 24th, by 12:00, under the organisation of the Independent Ferronikli Workers Union, company workers “NewCo Ferrnikli” will protest before the Kosovo Government's target.
The main requirement will be to take concrete action on the part of the government for the return to production and return of Ferronikel workers to work, who are suffering serious economic consequences from the long crisis.
Five months after factory production was cut off, the government has consistently neglected our urgent nature demands, despite appeals to aid and two peaceful protests with high numbers of participants
Today, the “NewCo Ferronikli” remains the only company in Kosovo, vulnerable to committed energy tariffs and exposed to the crisis, unlike any other company or business in our country, protected by tariffs and subsidised by the state to cope with the situation. We consider this to be an unprecedented injustice and discrimination against company workers.
