European Union Home Affairs Commissioner Ylva Johannsson said the European Union must prepare for millions of incoming Ukrainian refugees.
“It's very difficult to guess how much, but I think we should be prepared for millions of”, she said.
Johannson said that by now about 300 thousand Ukrainians have come to European Union member states.
Interior ministers from all over the EU are meeting in Brussels to discuss the consequences of the crisis in Ukraine.
Minister Johansson said it would launch a solidarity platform to co-ordinate the different types of support that will also need members for Ukrainians leaving Ukraine.
