“We stress that any further military aggression of Russia against Ukraine would have massive consequences and would bring extraordinary costs”, said a joint statement of the two countries, along with Estonia, Norway, Albania and the EU delegation to the United Nations.
The countries said they were very concerned about the massive collection of Russia's armed forces near Ukraine.
“We condemn the fact that Russia has so far provided no satisfactory explanation regarding the collection of” troops, German Ambassador to the UN Anje Leendertse said during the UN Security Council meeting.
