There are many reasons to be entrepreneur. Possessing a business can be either joy or pain. The odds are you'll experience both sometimes. It's not easy to grow a business, and during frustration, entrepreneurs decide to give up.
We didn't learn entrepreneurship as we grew up, so most things will be taught through experience. I started my first business when I was 19 years old without instructions or counselors. As the business grew rapidly to $250,000. I didn't know how to manage the business, and I borrowed $180,000 during the 12-year business management.
It wasn't a business I was passionate about, so I finally left. My second business is what I love. I write, I speak all over the world, and I consult great companies and people. This business has also grown and has given me the opportunity to pay all debts from my past business.
I don't want this business just because of money. It goes beyond that. If you're in a business that you love, the odds are that money is just the by - product of great reason. There are two main reasons why you wake up in the morning to do what you want.
Freedom
Freedom is one thing everyone wants and needs. Freedom comes in many forms and can be the difference between real life and simple existence. The entrepreneurship offers many ways to be free. You can set your schedule and spend your time every day on things that are important to you.
I understand that income offers financial freedom, and in return it reduces stress and worry. But to experience freedom and control is very valuable. To be there for your family and still producing income is real success. To be in control of your destiny is one thing most people target.
There are good and bad days. There are good days financially and there are days when you don't earn money. It's not always roses, and there are days when stress can be unbearable. But when you think of the freedom you can experience, it helps you to overcome difficult times. Aim for freedom in your business. Work to get to the point of running business without ever having to be in business.
The Influence
You started a business to earn a living, but what you do in business helps people and changes their lives. Look at Apple Company and its founder Steve Jobs, for example.
Although I had a profitable business in the retail industry, it did not affect me or the people I served. Today, I am the author of three books. I plan to write ten. Today, you can see my words in excellent publications like Entrepreneur, the Huffington Post, Fox News and more. I see the impact I do every day and it helps me to spend days when I don't feel 100 percent.
If you have not yet started your business or just started it, focus on helping people and adding value to their lives. Do not focus on how much money you can earn from someone. When you add value, you build faith. A candidate buys from someone he knows, likes and trusts. There is no better way to build faith than to help someone without expecting anything to return. Don't get me wrong, you have to offer a fair price for the value you offer, but this should always come from the service.
In busy business - growing activities and times, it is easy to lose sight of why you started business. Your business may not increase at the moment, and it may be because your focus is on the wrong things. Take a minute this week to remember. Take the time to enjoy your freedom and the impact you have on people's lives. Enjoy the little moments on the road to building your own business and living every day completely present. You're creating an inheritance that will continue for a long time. That should make you smile.
