Denmark will donate 2700 antitank weapons to Ukraine, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen told reporters today, Reuters reports.
She said Denmark would allow its citizens to join international brigades that are formed to fight against Russian forces in Ukraine.
It's a choice anyone can make. This is true of all Ukrainians living here, but also of others who think they can contribute directly to the conflict,” said Frederiksen at a press conference, broadcast AFP.
There is nothing at first glance that would legally prevent someone from going to Ukraine to participate in the conflict, from the Ukrainian side,” she added.
Earlier Sunday, Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelensky, called on foreigners to go to Ukraine's embassies around the world to register at a “international brigade” volunteers to help combat Russian invading forces.
