Pristina's Constitutional Prosecutor has filed yesterday for the appointment of the detention measure to PSD leader Dardan Moliqaj and the activist of this party, Adem Megjuani.

The detention against them is being sought in the direction of the criminal act “assault on the official person”.

The news has revealed for Express Pristina Foundation Prosecutor's spokeswoman Laureta Ulaj.

“The case you refer to is announced that the Founding Prosecutor in Pristina has applied for the appointment of the detention measure to two (2) detainees, in the direction of criminal work “The attack on the official person”, according to the Penal Code of the Republic of Kosovo”, has confirmed Ulaj.

Otherwise, during yesterday's day, the Social Democrat Party has demanded that party chairman Dardan Moliqaj and activist Adem Megjuani be released immediately, who were arrested in connection with Saturday's protest that was held against the electricity's expensive proposal.

According to the PSD, Megjun has reported himself to the police as Moliqaj was arrested in the T7 television court, where he was also scheduled to provide an interview for the “show Prevising”.

After the arrest, both of them at the prosecutor's decision have been taken to custody.
