Social Democratic Party Chairman Dardan Moliqaj has today appeared before the Constitutional Court in Pristina for criminal acts of assault on the official person.
This session is expected to know whether Moliqaj will be released in regular procedure or will go into custody for 30 days.
A large number of police officials are participating in the session.
spokesman PSD, Dren Kukaj, said before the media they expect their leader's release.
He has also denied reports that the PSD will protest today for their leader.
Moliqaj was arrested Tuesday, following an incident he had with the police official in the January 29th protest against rising electricity prices.
